About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial & Subcontracts Manager to drive strategic contract execution and innovative commercial solutions across existing and new business requirements in Cyber & Intelligence and Space & ISR. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts & Subcontracts, you will influence mission‑critical outcomes while collaborating with cross‑functional teams at the forefront of national security.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience negotiating commercial and subcontract agreements in Defence or Cyber sectors
* Experience bidding on large, complex requirements
* Degree in business or equivalent professional experience
* Strong communicator with a proactive, adaptable mindset
* Familiarity with Agile and other contracting methodologies
* Financial acumen – translate programme data into actionable insights
* Track record of driving performance and solving complex problems
* Skilled in managing customer and subcontractor relationships
Desirable
* Experience working with UK Government departments as a prime or subcontractor
* Exposure to international suppliers and collaborative delivery models
* Knowledge of Teaming Agreements and strategic partnerships
Responsibilities
* Own the delivery of contracts and subcontracts across bids and programmes, ensuring full compliance with Raytheon policies
* Develop and implement commercial and subcontracting strategies that support complex proposals and customer requirements
* Navigate contract and subcontract changes throughout the lifecycle to maximise value and mitigate riskPartner with programme leadership to drive financial performance and shape business cases for senior stakeholders
* Work closely with engineering, programme management, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated solutions
