Management of IT systems requirement for bis track and WMS processing. Ensure that Supervisors/Staff are carrying out all orders/picks correctly. Oversee the planning of vehicle loads are carried out correctly. Update stock inventory after stock has been received/dispatched. Receive all stock from ST national vehicle processes, check for damages, Ensure all shift staff are carrying out daily defect reporting. Ensure two-point check processes are carried out. Ensure Supervisors/Staff are correctly carrying out the process of order checking and label stock prior to the order being loaded onto the trucks or being placed away into the racking. Plan, prepare and check vehicles have been loaded securely and safely according to the manifest. Ensure all FLTs are filled and serviceable at the end of the shift. Ensure staff are picking orders from the racking, ensuring the stock is correct and undamaged prior to picking. Manage and handle all stock with the appropriate care. Ensure Timber checks have been completed and recorded. Ensure general warehouse duties are being carried out during the shift, which includes housekeeping, Legionella checks, security of site and warehouse, fire duties and First Aid (if qualified). Assist Operations manager in preparation for stock takes. Open, close and secure the building at the beginning of the weekly shift. Ensure FLT and HGV fleet are operated in accordance with company guidance, taking care to carry out pre-use checks, look out for hazards and report any issues immediately Assist the Operations Manager with people management including: Manage Night shift activities, get to know your team, co-ordinate time off and be able to resolve any onsite issues. Assist with casework such as managing performance, carrying out investigations, disciplinaries, absence management, etc. Assist with continual development of team members including setting goals, discussing development activities, training colleagues, carrying out appraisals, etc. Provide a safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety procedures, and ensuring they are understood and practiced by the team at all times Ensure all workplace hazards are identified, reported (NMO’s) and rectify, where safe to do so. Ensure yourself and other supervised staff are operating Manual Handling Equipment (Combis/FLT’s) in accordance with SWP’s. To assist with accident investigations (if required) and ensure all injury accidents are recorded in the accident book. Injuries also to be reported to management. Ensure racking is correctly used and/or rectify hazards to reduce potential risks (where safe to do so) Ensure equipment faults, stock damage, accidents and near-misses are reported immediately. Follow safe working procedures and other company policies and procedures.
