As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will…
* Undertake electrical building services design across a range of project sectors, including calculations, drawings and specifications.
* Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, with experience of Revit being advantageous.
* Undertake electrical design calculations, including power, lighting, containment, and life safety systems.
* Support project delivery from concept through to detailed design and technical coordination.
* Survey and report on electrical systems within existing buildings.
* Prepare and contribute to tender documentation.
* Monitor, report and support contract administration during construction.
* Undertake witnessing duties during project handover.
* Collaborate with clients, design team members, suppliers and contractors to deliver technically robust and efficient solutions.
* Comply with Brookbanks QA procedures.
What we’re looking for
* Degree educated in a relevant electrical engineering or building services discipline.
* Strong electrical design skills across building services.
* Revit experience is desirable.
* Working towards chartership or Chartered status.
* Full driving licence.
