Job Title: Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Banding: Band 5
Location: Rhyl, North Wales
Rate: £28.00 - £52.34 per hour
As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision‑making skills, ability to handle high‑pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.
Key Responsibilities
* Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritising care based on severity.
* Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilise patients and providing life‑saving measures when necessary.
* Monitoring and recording vital signs and changes in patients’ conditions.
* Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
* Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.

Requirements
* Valid NMC registration.
* Minimum 6 months experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility & reliability – willingness to work across various shifts including nights, weekends, and days.
* A current DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check (Pulse Nursing can help facilitate this).
