We’re looking for a dual-skilled Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to maintain, fault-find, and repair rolling stock and depot systems — ensuring services run smoothly every day. The role may involve shift work, and attending incidents out of hours may be required to support urgent fault recovery.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical & electrical systems on rolling stock.
* Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
* Support incident response and recovery when needed.
* Work closely with depot and operations teams.
* Ensure all work meets strict rail safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Bring
* Dual qualification or proven experience in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
* Rail depot or rolling stock maintenance experience (or similar heavy engineering).
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility to work shifts, with attending incidents out of hours when required.
* A proactive, safety-focused attitude and pride in quality workmanship.
