As a Performance & Innovation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a low audit and inspection exposure risk while driving innovation in teaching and learning across all Prevista provisions. You will develop and deliver innovative pedagogical approaches, leveraging technology and AI to enhance the learning experience. Your role will also involve implementing effective performance management systems, tracking and improving employee performance, and supporting the Head of Quality, Curriculum & Safeguarding in preparing for OFSTED inspections and awarding body assessments.
Are you the right person for the job?
Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in an FE environment and a teaching qualification
Proven track record of delivering high rates of learner achievement
Experience in delivering staff development and teacher training programmes
Creative and effective use of ILT for delivering high-quality learning experiences
Experience in improving teaching, learning, and assessments to an outstanding level
Relevant QCF Assessor qualification (D32/D33/A1/CAVA/TAQA Assessor)
Relevant Internal Verifier/Internal Quality Assurer qualification (D34/V1)
Performance management experience to ensure high quality of delivery and achievement
Awareness of recent developments in teaching and learning, including AI
Experience with the Self-Assessment process and Quality Improvement Plans
Effective management and leadership of staff, resources, and budgets is desirable
Strong communication, planning, monitoring, and reporting skills
What will your role look like?
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality practices that meet business, government, and contractual requirements
Enhance the quality framework to ensure outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment across all contracts
Conduct quality assurance observations, provide actionable feedback, and monitor improvements
Lead the development of innovative pedagogical approaches using technology and AI
Ensure high-quality academic target setting and assessment for learners
Identify and deliver high-impact training for staff involved in the delivery of learning
Provide reports and updates on the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment
Lead teaching and learning strategies and improvement groups
Set individual staff targets and mentor staff to achieve excellent results
Oversee performance to ensure KPIs are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget
Foster a positive, high-performing organisational culture and promote strong professional standards
Engage with external organisations to promote quality improvement and share best practices
Ensure compliance with Prevista's quality standards and procedures
Support staff development through continuous professional development (CPD) and mentoring
Challenges:

Managing productive relationships with delivery partners, funders, and senior management
