About the Role
1. Location: Victoria Park Dental Practice, Glasgow
2. Position: Dental Hygienist
3. Start date: Flexible – ASAP preferred
4. Days/hours: Monday 2pm-7pm & Saturday 9am - 12pm
You will play a key role in delivering preventive dental care and helping our patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
What You’ll Do
5. Carry out comprehensive hygiene appointments tailored to each patient’s needs
6. Provide clear patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
7. Work closely with dentists and the wider clinical team to deliver personalised treatment plans
8. Keep detailed and accurate patient records
9. Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety standards
10. Stay up to date with the latest developments in dental hygiene through ongoing CPD
What We’re Looking For
11. Recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene
12. Current GDC registration
13. Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist (private and/or NHS)
14. Strong knowledge of preventive dentistry and patient education
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. A collaborative team player with empathy and patience
17. Proficiency in using intraoral scanners and dental practice management software (desirable)
18. Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care
