Role Overview As a SEN Support Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with PMLD in their educational journey. Working closely with teaching staff, you will assist in delivering tailored learning activities, promote student engagement, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with PMLD. * Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans. * Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in learning activities. * Assist with personal care and mobility needs as required. * Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff. * Contribute to the development and adaptation of learning resources. * Support students in developing social and communication skills. * Uphold the college's safeguarding and health & safety policies.
