We are supporting a major UK defence programme with the appointment of an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to provide interim support on a high-profile and complex portfolio.
Working within a highly regulated environment, you will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across complex categories and work packages.
* Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key suppliers.
* Drive commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Support supplier performance, risk management and contract change activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve value, resilience and supply chain performance.
* Work closely with programme teams to ensure procurement activities align with delivery objectives.
Experience Required
* Strong procurement and supply chain experience gained within the Defence sector.
* Proven track record of contract negotiation and contract management.
* Experience managing complex supplier relationships and delivering strategic sourcing activities.
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
* Understanding of governance and compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.
* Active UK Security Clearance (SC or above) is essential.
