A large-scale automated distribution operation is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team.
This is a highly reactive maintenance role working across a busy automated facility containing conveyors, cranes, sortation systems and warehouse automation equipment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Reactive breakdown maintenance across automated distribution equipment
* Fault finding on conveyors, cranes, drives, rollers and automated handling systems
* Working safely within panels using multi-meters and electrical drawings
* Supporting PPMs and engineering projects when required
* Responding to plant breakdowns quickly within a fast-paced operation
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
* A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
* Previous experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or production environments
* Ability to work safely both mechanically and electrically
* A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving ability
