As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full range of traditional Quantity Surveying duties working on multi-million pound projects with a strong focus on measurement, Bills of Quantities, and schedules of work. This role will suit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience working on a variety of projects within the built environment. You'll work within a close-knit team delivering accurate and timely outputs., As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor your responsibilities will include:
* Lead QS duties on projects from inception to completion
* Prepare and manage detailed estimates, BQs, schedules of work, and tender/contract documents
* Provide cost advice, budget reporting, and contractual guidance
* Attend design/progress meetings; liaise with clients and contractors
* Promote compliance with QA systems and company procedures
* Mentor junior staff and support business development activities
* Maintain strong client relationships and identify repeat work opportunities
The successful Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be aligned with the above job description in addition to:
* Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Construction related degree
* Member of Royal Institute of Surveyors (MRICS)
* 2/3+ years' post chartered experience in a Quantity Surveying role working on new build and refurbishments projects.
* Proven ability to produce accurate measured Bills of quantities and estimates.
* Strong knowledge of UK construction methods, procurement, and JCT contracts.
* Proficient in digital measurement tools and MS Office.
* Confident, detail-oriented, and commercially focused with excellent communication skills.
