We are seeking an experienced Senior Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for providing high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the highest standards of care by supporting Service Users in all aspects of daily living.
* Supervise and support junior and new staff under guidance from senior team members.
* Assist Clients with physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs.
* Ensure Service Users' comfort and dignity, especially those with limited mobility or learning difficulties.
* Monitor and support Service Users with behavioural challenges or confusion.
* Promote continence and assist in end-of-life care, including last offices.
* Observe, document, and review care plans in line with company policies.
* Encourage social activities, supporting Service Users in pursuing hobbies within the Care Centre.
* Respond to Nurse Call systems, answer phones and doors appropriately, and relay messages promptly.
* Liaise with GPs and external professionals regarding Service Users' well-being.
* Conduct regular checks on Service Users as directed by senior staff.
* Administer medications safely to residents.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Health Care Assistant.
* Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills.
* Compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to maintaining dignity and respect for all Service Users.
