We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join the team within our East Sussex Community Equipment Service Centre based in Hailsham. Millbrook Healthcare work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day to day life.
About the role:
1. Stock management including labelling and logging of equipment
2. Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers
3. Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team
4. Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner
5. Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed
6. Decontamination of community equipment
7. Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas
8. Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing
9. You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota
10. You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion
What are we looking for?
11. Previous warehouse/decontamination experience is desirable however full training will be provided
12. Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous
13. Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers
14. Keen to develop within the role and company
15. Hard working, driven and motivated
16. Full UK driving licence is preferred
