Account Director – Internal Comms & Engagement Location: York (Hybrid – typically 2 days in the office) Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE Type: Permanent, Full-time We’re working with a leading internal comms and employee engagement consultancy in central York who are looking for an experienced Account Director to join their growing team. This is a strategic, people-first role – perfect for someone who loves building client relationships, leading meaningful projects, and delivering real impact inside organisations. You'll work across a range of clients and sectors, helping shape campaigns around culture, behaviour, leadership comms, and employee experience. What you’ll be doing: Leading client relationships – acting as a trusted advisor and key point of contact Working with internal specialists (writers, consultants, behavioural experts) to shape and deliver engagement programmes Managing project timelines, budgets, and day-to-day delivery across multiple accounts Spotting opportunities to grow accounts and add value Supporting the development of junior team members What you’ll bring: Strong experience in a client-facing, strategic role – ideally in internal comms, engagement or consultancy Great communication and relationship-building skills Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and projects A calm, collaborative and practical approach Why join?
