Overview
Regional Account Manager (New business) – North East. You will shape the local Drinks-on-Premise landscape by engaging with independent pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels. You will discuss their drinks range, understand their customer base, and take a consultative approach to selling. This role focuses on new business, with some larger multi-site accounts retained and grown where applicable. You will work with data and research to prepare for conversations and opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the North East region.
* Engage with independent pubs, bars, restaurants, and hotels to understand their drinks ranges and customer needs.
* Adopt a consultative selling approach supported by research and due diligence; avoid door-knocking.
* Monitor licensing opportunities, competitor contracts, and venue readiness to enter conversations well prepared.
* Ensure smooth transition of new accounts to account management teams while maintaining high service levels.
* Retain and grow larger multi-site accounts where applicable.
* Build strategic relationships with customers and stakeholders; gather and utilize data meticulously to inform decisions.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience selling into licensed premises with a consultative approach.
* Proven ability to build strategic relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Strong data gathering and preparation skills; detail-oriented and prepared.
