Recruitment Coordinator at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Youth Worker to join our Youth Team in our Community Development area of the business here at WCHG. The Youth Worker will be responsible for delivering a programme of youth work within a range of centre-based and community settings through the provision of youth led projects and informal educational activities to meet the needs of young people aged 8 to 19 years, or up to 25 with a disability.
The role is offered on a fixed term basis to 31st March 2026, working 10 hours per week, working evenings and occasional weekends.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have an NVQ or equivalent in youth and community work, experience of developing, promoting, organising and delivering personal, social and educational programmes and opportunities with and for young people. In addition candidates will have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people, develop effective working relationships, work as part of a team and have a willingness to work flexibly to ensure service delivery.
Responsibilities

Communicate with a wide range of people, develop effective working relationships, and work as part of a team to ensure service delivery. Willingness to work flexibly to support the service.
