Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to join a specialist automation company.
The successful Sales Manager will be home based but will need to live somewhere in between Leeds/West Yorkshire and the M25. Most of the customers are located in between, so it wouldnt work if you live in Cornwall or Glasgow for example!
The company is going places theyve grown steadily over the years they're stable, they operate in a growing industry, order intake is up year on year and youll be selling state of the art solutions.
Key aspects of the Sales Manager role include
Identify and win new business, as well as grow revenue from existing customers
Role requires experience of selling controls and automated related equipment and solutions
Successful Sales Manager will be polished, credible, confident, self-motivated, autonomous and have first class communication skills
Strong negotiation and deal closing ability is critical
Knowledge of the automated warehouse and/or logistics supply chain would be advantageous
An understanding of a technical discipline is key a background in automation, system integration, material handing systems or logistics equipment and software
Successful Sales Manager will have a proven track record of sales success in a KPI driven environment
Youll need to be commercially astute and have the drive and energy to succeed combined with a passion for sales and top performance
The Sales Manager role will involve all sales activities including regular client meetings, solution development, quote building and closing deals
