Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and is fixed term for 12 months.
NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking an experienced Organisational Development Manager to lead our Organisational Development function. This role involves developing and delivering a range of culture change programmes, providing professional advice, and leading the Organisational Development Advisor team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the Organisational Development function, embedding culture and values within daily operations.
· Develop and drive leadership development in the Board.
· Provide expert knowledge in OD tools and methodologies, including overseeing NHSGGC’s Investors In People programme.
· Develop and facilitate interventions and learning events to support effective working practices, positive behaviours, and culture change.
· Manage the Organisational Development function, contributing to the delivery of the NHSGGC Workforce Strategy.
· Lead on Organisational Development themes with Trade Unions and staff side, developing and maintaining excellent working relationships.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Educated to degree level or equivalent experience with a strong commitment to life-long learning.
· Chartered membership of the CIPD with a portfolio of ongoing professional development or equivalent experience.
· Excellent communication skills with highly developed written communication skills and evidence of problem-solving/solution-finding traits.
· Demonstrable experience in change management, service improvement, leadership and management development, and project management.
