JOB TITLE:Assistant Manager - Risk Science
SALARY:£82,726 - £87,080
LOCATIONS:Edinburgh or Leeds
HOURS: Full-time

Whatyou’llbe doing
Working as part of ateamyou’llsupport all stages of model monitoring frommaintainingexisting monitoring to developing new monitoring solutions to support any newly developed models. This includes presenting analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Additionally carrying out analysis andprovidingdata insights to stakeholders across Risk is also a regular part of the role
1. Build andmaintainModel Monitoring packs for commercial banking customers
2. UseSASandSQLandpython (coding language) for data manipulation and analysis
3. Work with Risk and Finance business partners to agree theobjectivesof analytical projects and ensure they meet regulatory and business requirements
4. Mentoring and coaching of junior colleagues
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including internal governance and implementation teams, to deliver effective analytical solutions

Whatwe’relooking for?
6. A degree preferably in a numerate/statistical discipline.
7. Experience delivering predictive analytics in a regulatory or credit risk setting.
8. An understanding of statistical modelling and an interest in developing models e.g. regression or decision trees
9. Proficient in a coding language-PythonandSAS
