The Job - Shunter Driver Class 1 (Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1)
* Operate Class 1 vehicles to safely move trailers within yard and depot environments
* Complete basic vehicle checks and ensure all safety standards are maintained
* Communicate with transport teams to coordinate trailer movements efficiently
* Follow all site health and safety rules, including proper use of PPE and yard procedures
* Keep accurate records of completed moves and report any vehicle defects promptly
Skills and Experience Required - Shunter Driver Class 1 (Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1)
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Previous shunting or yard driving experience essential
* Ability to work days, nights, and weekends on a rotating or fixed pattern
* Must hold a valid DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
