The Role
As part of their surgical team, you will:
* Deliver high:quality patient care in the theatre setting.
* Assist in surgical procedures while maintaining a safe, sterile environment.
* Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
* Monitor patients throughout their procedures.
* Collaborate effectively with the surgical team for efficient patient care.
* Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols.
* Accurately document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
About You
Our client is looking for professionals with:
* Previous experience as a Theatre Practitioner or in a similar role (preferred).
* Experience in ophthalmology (a strong advantage).
* Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care principles.
* Proven ability to analyse situations and make critical decisions under pressure.
* Expertise in maintaining a sterile environment and infection prevention practices.
* Basic Life Support certification (essential).
