As a live-in care assistant, you will live with one of our clients in their home and provide them with round-the-clock support according to their needs and preferences. You will also assist them with daily activities such as cooking, shopping, medication, appointments and hobbies. You will be matched with a client based on your personality, interests and skills, and you will have regular breaks and time off.
To be a successful live-in care assistant, you will need:
* A genuine passion for caring for older people
* A friendly, compassionate and respectful attitude
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and use your initiative
* The willingness to learn and follow our high standards of care
* The right to work in the UK
* A valid driving licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential)
