About the job
The Regional Onsite Support (ROS) role provides hands‑on, onsite IT support to employees across designated offices within the region. Acting as the local face of IT, the role focuses on supporting physical employee technologies, office IT environments, and local services, while working closely with central service desks and specialist IT teams.
The ROS role is essential in delivering a high‑quality employee experience, ensuring technology is available, functional, and supported where physical presence is required. You’ll be working with a team of 10 experienced and friendly IT Administrators across the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, South Africa, UAE and Turkey. We form part of a wider EMEA team and work closely with other divisions of CIS globally.
As a Associate Systems Administrator, you will:
1. Onsite IT Support
Provide in‑person support for employee technologies, including laptops, desktops, monitors, peripherals, mobile devices, and accessoriesPerform hands‑on troubleshooting, device diagnostics, break/fix repairs, and equipment swapsSupport meeting rooms, audio‑visual equipment, training rooms, and local events, including setup and fault resolution
Service Management & Ticket Handling
Manage incidents and requests routed to Regional Onsite Support assignment groupsUpdate and maintain tickets accurately in ServiceNow, ensuring clear communication and timely resolutionWork collaboratively with Tier 1, Tier 2, and other IT service towers to resolve issues efficiently and avoid unnecessary ticket escalation
Hardware Lifecycle & Asset Management
Support new starter onboarding and leaver offboarding from a hardware perspectiveManage hardware stock levels, replacements, and out‑of‑warranty devicesEnsure asset records are accurate within asset management and CMDB systemsCoordinate device recycling, disposal, or donation in line with company policy
Procurement & Local Supplier Coordination
Support procurement activities including purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoice handlingLiaise with local and regional suppliers for hardware, mobile services, printing, and AV equipmentAssist with tracking local IT costs and supporting budget adherence where required
Compliance, Standards & Collaboration
Follow company IT standards, security policies, and processesParticipate in audits, documentation updates, and process improvements as requiredAttend regional and global ROS meetings and provide cross‑regional support during absence or peak periods
2. Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

Required qualifications
4. Typically requires experience with interactive network environment and one or more client/server operating systems required. User support, customer support, or training experience preferred.
5. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, preferably in Computer Science or a related discipline.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage confidently with non‑technical users in a face‑to‑face environment
7. A practical problem‑solving mindset, able to assess issues logically and take effective onsite action
8. Strong ownership and accountability, seeing tasks through to completion and proactively following up on outstanding actions
9. Good organisational and time‑management skills, capable of managing multiple requests and priorities in a busy, service‑driven role
10. Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to respond to changing priorities, urgent issues, and occasional event or office‑based support
11. Collaborative working style, able to work effectively with colleagues across IT service towers, suppliers, and regional teams
12. Attention to detail, particularly when updating systems, managing assets, and following defined processes
13. A professional, reliable, and approachable manner, acting as a trusted local representative of IT
14. A continuous learning attitude, open to developing new skills, tools, and knowledge as technologies and services evolve
15. Proof of right to work in UK is required to be considered for the role
