Role Overview
As Site Engineer, youll play a critical role in delivering residential groundworks across multiple plots. Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, youll ensure work is set out accurately, progress is tracked effectively, and quality is maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for roads, sewers, and plot works on residential developments
Managing levels, surveys, and ensuring accurate as-built records
Coordinating with site management and subcontractors to meet programme targets
Monitoring health & safety compliance on site
Resolving any technical or engineering issues as they arise
Reporting progress to senior management and maintaining detailed site records
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Engineer in residential groundworks or civil engineering
Proficient in using total stations, GPS, and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of site health & safety regulations
Ability to manage setting-out for multiple plots simultaneously
Full UK driving licence
