We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a growing engineering business within the compressed air sector, covering the West Yorkshire region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with previous compressor or compressed air industry experience to manage existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities across manufacturing and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an established customer base across the West Yorkshire region
* Develop new business opportunities within industrial and manufacturing sectors
* Sell compressed air solutions including compressors, air treatment equipment, and associated services
* Conduct customer site visits, technical consultations, and solution presentations
* Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and manage the full sales cycle
* Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver high levels of customer support
* Achieve sales and revenue targets through consultative, relationship-led selling
Requirements
* Essential experience within compressors or the compressed air industry
* Proven field sales or area sales management experience
* Strong technical and commercial understanding
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Ability to manage both new business and existing accounts
* Full UK driving licence

* Up to £50,000 basic salary depending on experience
