As
Director of Sales and Operations
, you will hold the most senior position within the Divisional Managing Director's structure, joining the Senior Leadership team alongside the Managing Directors of BlueBay and Jointing Tech. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape the strategic direction of our Infrastructure brand, driving national sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence. With full accountability for our sales and operations network, regular UK-wide travel will be essential to maintain strong engagement and performance.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
* Developing the long-term operational & network strategy of Infrastructure.
* Developing and managing 5 direct reports through coaching, development and regular feedback as well as providing leadership to over 600 indirect reports.
* Developing and implementing plans that deliver on the company's objectives in order to maximise customer service, sales and profit.
* Aligning the sales and operations team whilst driving a one team mentality.
* Develop a culture within the teams in which they are focused on results, motivated to deliver and empowered to demonstrate entrepreneurial and innovative flair.
* Work with category and various other internal teams, building and maintaining key relationships.
And here's what we'd like you to have:
* Proven experience of working in a senior Sales and/or Operations role, in a complex B2B organisation.
* Experience of inspiring and leading large teams, able to demonstrate a record of building/directing teams to develop new business, exceed targets and improve revenue and margins.
* Customer focused, strategic thinker, passion for delivering results and success.
* Experience of developing sales, operational and customer service strategies.
