Cover Supervisor – Secondary School
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Protocol Education is working with a secondary school in Telford seeking to appoint enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to provide classroom supervision during teacher absence. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those with classroom support experience to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
* Maintain positive behaviour and ensure lessons run in line with school policies.
* Support students in achieving lesson objectives.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress.

Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Confident classroom presence with strong communication and behaviour management skills.
* Flexible and able to work at short notice.
* A valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
