We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior MP&L Manager to join our team in Minworth. The Senior MP&L Manager will oversee MP&L activities and supply chain efficiency, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members and suppliers are effective and that organisational goals are met to build a better future.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring and adhering to site Health & Safety standards, including equipment use
* Analyzing inbound/outbound operations and identifying process improvements
* Implementing business strategies aligned with short- and long-term objectives developed with the Plant Manager
* Monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, and preparing detailed updates and forecasts
* Building trusting relationships with customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
* Compiling data and preparing presentations
* Problem-solving complex issues in a dynamic environment
* Collaborating with IT to develop and maintain warehouse management systems
* Delegating tasks effectively, setting SMART objectives
* Recording accidents/incidents and completing relevant documentation
* Delivering customer requirements according to DP World standards
* Ensuring compliance with best practices
* Managing staff performance, including appraisals and development plans
* Managing stock to meet customer needs and maintain warehouse bonds
* Championing Equality and Diversity within the warehouse
Qualifications and Experience:
* At least five years of leadership experience
* Strong leadership skills, integrity, and resolve
* Understanding of advanced business planning
* Data analysis and performance metrics proficiency
* Problem diagnosis and foresight skills
* Degree in a relevant subject or Level 5+ apprenticeship
