We are seeking a committed and values-driven Service Manager – Supported Living to join our Operations team. You will be responsible for overseeing a cluster of supported living services, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex or enhanced care needs to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.
Working closely with the Registered Manager (and Area Support Manager in larger services), you will oversee commissioned hours of support, supervise staff teams, and ensure service delivery meets regulatory standards, company policies, and quality and financial KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
5. Champion person-centred care, ensuring individuals’ needs, preferences and aspirations are at the centre of all decision-making.
6. Lead, support and supervise Support Workers, including recruitment, training, supervision and appraisals.
7. Develop, implement and regularly review person-centred care and support plans.
8. Ensure high-quality, safe and effective service delivery that promotes independence and wellbeing.
9. Support compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC standards.
10. Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals supported, families, advocates and external professionals.
11. Support risk management, safeguarding and incident reporting, acting promptly and appropriately.
12. Promote health and safety in line with legislation and organisational policies.
13. Contribute to quality assurance, audits, inspections and continuous service improvement.
14. Be responsive to crisis situations and service needs.
15. Work on rota, including occasional sleep-in duties, and provide direct support as required to role model best practice.
Essential:
16. Knowledge of supported living services for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
17. Care Certificate and mandatory training in line with Skills for Care.
18. Strong leadership and organisational skills.
19. Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills (Office 365).
20. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Desirable:
21. QCF Level 4/5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
22. Previous supervisory or management experience within supported living or adult social care.
23. Experience or training in Positive Behaviour Support, Active Support, PBM, Makaton or BSL.
