HMS requires Plasterers to join an integrated team delivering a first-class construction and maintenance service.
This is an important role in which you will:
* Conduct plastering repairs and refurbishments, including skimming, dry lining, and rendering.
* Apply plaster to interior walls and ceilings to form smooth and decorative surfaces following project specifications and quality standards.
* Prepare surfaces prior to plastering, including removing old plaster or wallpaper, covering flooring and furniture, and fixing any holes or cracks to ensure smooth application.
* Mix plaster materials to the right consistency and apply them to surfaces using hand tools or mechanical equipment as necessary.
* Create decorative textures in wet plaster as per design requirements.
* Work closely with other construction professionals, ensuring timelines are met and work is completed to the highest standard.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Operate within a scheduled appointment systems or a defined programme of works.
* Utilise IT and communications equipment.
* Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
* Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
* Drive a company van.
To be successful in this role you need:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plastering or Craft Discipline.
* CSCS card at appropriate level.
* Full UK or EU driving license.
