A structured development plan will help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a fully-fledged Trading Standards Officer. Your role will span areas including: Animal Health and Welfare; Environmental Protection; Fair Trading; Feed and Food Standards; Product Safety; and Weights and Measures. This is a meaningful public service career with impact on communities across Sandwell.
Responsibilities and development
You will undertake a structured development plan designed to develop required skills and knowledge and work towards professional qualifications in Trading Standards. The role covers a range of important areas listed above as part of your progression to a qualified officer.
Requirements
* GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above
* Hours: 37 per week
