Key Responsibilities:

* Expert Advisory: Providing expert advice on complex risk and compliance matters, including professional standards, ethics, regulatory compliance, data protection, and conflict of interest.

* Project Management: Owning and managing various risk and compliance-related projects, working closely with divisional and business leads.
\t
* Data Analysis: Producing and monitoring risk and compliance data to identify strengths and weaknesses in current processes.
\t
* Policy Development: Assisting in updating the firm's precedent documents and creating concise, professional policies and training materials.
\t
* Training and Development: Developing and delivering bespoke training programmes for different divisions, enhancing the firm's overall compliance knowledge.
\t
* Leadership: Leading the escalation of higher-risk matters to the Risk Committee and coach junior team members.
Essential Skills and Experience required:
\t
* Extensive experience in risk and compliance within a law firm.
\t
* Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and codes of conduct.
\t
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
\t
* Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications:
\t
* Qualified solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
\t
* Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in law or compliance.
\t
* Experience in managerial or coaching roles.
