WE are seeking a Yard Manager for our client based in Warwickshire.Monday - Friday7:00- 16:00£30,000 per year depending on experienceJob Description:To oversee the day-to-day operations of the yard and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced. This role is ideal for someone with a background in mechanics who can manage inventory and organize logistics, and perform or oversee routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and vehicles.Responsibilities:Manage the organization, cleanliness, and safety of the yard and work areas.Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company equipment (e.g., trucks, trailers, generators, small & large Agriculture machines).Schedule and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to reduce equipment downtime.Maintain accurate records of service and repair history for all assets.Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or part procurement when needed.Manage incoming and outgoing inventory, deliveries, and shipments.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Assist with loading and unloading of materials when necessary.Support logistics and operations teams with equipment allocation and yard logistics.Experience: Proven experience as a Yard Manager, Mechanic, or in a similar role.Strong mechanical background; ability to diagnose and repair equipment.Familiarity with maintaining heavy machinery and tools.Strong organizational and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure.M4 Specialist are an employment business and operates as an equal opportunities employer.
