JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant (Primary)ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School based in Bristol. The school is well-established, welcoming, and committed to providing high-quality education for all pupils.With strong leadership and a collaborative staff team, this is an excellent environment for an experienced TA looking to further develop their skills.
This position is offered on a long-term basis, with the potential for extension or a permanent contract depending on performance.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS
* Location: Bristol
* Position: Teaching Assistant (Primary)
* Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
* Pay Rate: £90 - £110 per day
* Hours: 8:20am - 3:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
* Experience working in a UK education setting - mandatory
* Strong understanding of supporting teaching and learning within a primary classroom
* Experience supporting pupils individually, in groups, or as part of whole-class learning
* Understanding of or interest in supporting SEN, including Autism and Speech & Language needs
* Up-to-date safeguarding training (Prospero can provide this if needed)
* Confident communication and positive behaviour-management skills
* A calm, patient, and supportive approach to working with children
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE WITH PROSPERO, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
* Be able to provide 24 months of employment references, including at least one from a role involving children
* Have strong written and spoken English
