Speech and Language Teaching Assistant – Secondary School

We’re working with a secondary school seeking a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils with communication needs. You’ll help students build confidence in speaking, understanding language, and engaging in learning.
The role
• Support students with speech and language difficulties
• Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
• Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
What you’ll need
• Experience supporting young people with SEN or communication needs
• A calm, positive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
