Job Overview
We are recruiting two Deputy Charge Nurse posts for the Acute General Adult Admissions Ward 3 and the Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit Ward 1, both based in the Mental Health Unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.

Registered Mental Health Nurse with post‑registration experience who is committed to improving services, supporting staff wellbeing, and collaborating to deliver high‑quality care.

Hours & Pay
From 1 April 2026 the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week; part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. There will be a corresponding increase in hourly rate so that pay is not affected.

Applicants requiring sponsorship to work in the UK should review eligibility criteria for Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes. NHS Forth Valley may offer sponsorship for certain roles if the post meets salary thresholds and other criteria. Sponsorship is assessed case‑by‑case after interview and at the commencement of pre‑employment checks.
