Operating across commercial and industrial sectors, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable electrical solutions and maintaining high standards across all projects.
The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to play a key role within a busy commercial department, preparing accurate costings and supporting successful project delivery from tender stage through to completion.
Main Duties:
* Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications
* Evaluate labour, material, plant, and subcontractor costs
* Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments
* Assist in preparing tender submissions and quotations
* Monitor project costs and revise estimates where required
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks
* Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven background in Electrical Estimating is essential
* Experience within commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
* Strong understanding of construction and cost control processes
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Excellent IT skills including Excel and estimating software
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Site experience beneficial but not essential
