About the Role:
This Site Engineer position is a key role in the successful delivery of our Ironbridge project. As a member of the site management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Your duties will include conducting site surveys, setting out engineering works, and monitoring construction activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to safety regulations. You will also work closely with the project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to plan and execute project tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site surveys and set out engineering works accurately
* Monitor construction activities for compliance with design specifications and safety regulations
* Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to plan and execute project tasks efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress, and quality control checks
* Assist in resolving technical and engineering challenges during construction
* Support health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team
* Contribute to the project's success by meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work
Requirements:
* Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related field
