Overview
Working in a small administrative team to support a busy hub within the podiatry service in North Shields. The job involves answering the telephone to patient queries and making appointments on a computerised system. Processing of the referrals that come into the service and general administrative duties.
Main duties
* To assist in the general efficient running of sub-specialty offices including using a computer, scanning paper referrals, handling post and dealing with telephone enquiries.
* To cover for other Band 2 Clerical jobs as required.
* Main responsibilities include answering the telephone, dealing with patient appointments and queries and ensuring referrals are managed in a timely manner. Support the admin lead where needed.
