Overview
Joining the DAC Beachcroft team as a Paralegal - Motor Injury / Credit Hire in Newport. This is a permanent role within our market-leading CSG team that works with over 40 insurance companies and self-insured corporates. Attendance at the Newport office is required 5 days a week during probation, with a hybrid arrangement to be discussed with your manager after probation. An Assessment Centre is scheduled for Tuesday 9th September for successful candidates.

Responsibilities
* Be responsible for a varied caseload of pre-litigated or litigated work.
* Screen matters for prospects and liaise with clients on receipt of instructions.
* Review instructions and provide client advice on case prospects.
* Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation within client service standards.
* Instruct experts and counsel, draft Witness Statements and other court documents.
* Maintain contact with clients and their customers whilst proactively managing expectations.
* Meet individual performance measures (financial performance, realisation rates and other KPIs).
* Ensure that the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards are maintained.
Team • Roles
Two core teams in Newport:
* Motor Injury team — handles motor injury claims of all values and complexities with a market-leading approach to litigation and client-focused analysis of market behaviours.
* Credit Hire and Repair team — handles defendant credit hire dispute resolution, end-to-end solutions, pre-emptive advice, liability, indemnity and related losses including personal injury, credit repair and diminution.
