What will your day look like…
Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary design team, managing project delivery, resources, and budgets to ensure high-quality outcomes within time and cost constraints.
Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and overseeing all project approvals, consents, and permits.
Provide expert technical advice, ensuring compliance with regulations such as H&S and CDM, and brief or train teams on design matters both remotely and in person.
Scope, plan, and manage design investigations, ensuring that all design requirements are met and best practices are followed across the project lifecycle.
Oversee and coordinate external sub-consultants, assess tender requirements, and prepare accurate fee estimates and technical content for business development.
Contribute to continuous improvement by keeping up to date with industry best practice, supporting the development of the Integrated Management System, and providing technical reports and project administration.
About you…
Significant project leadership experience managing large or complex multi-disciplinary engineering schemes, or batches of work including regulator engagement and team collaboration.
Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) status or working towards, with strong technical realization and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate teams, sub-contractors, and project resources, including people/line management where needed.
Broad experience in Water and Wastewater infrastructure/non-infrastructure project delivery, with a sound understanding of statutory processes and technical standards.
Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and CDM Regulations, with the ability to provide expert technical advice and ensure compliance.
Excellent written communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to work independently while seeking guidance when required.
