Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. 6 Month initial Contract. Remote.
Role Overview: As a Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementation, you will play a crucial role in delivering a high-quality solution. You will work closely with the business to understand business processes, gather requirements, and design and implement solutions using the Dynamics 365 platform. You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules to meet the specific needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate to understand business processes and requirements.
* Conduct workshops and meetings to gather and document business requirements.
* Design solutions leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
* Configure Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules based on business requirements.
* Customise and extend Dynamics 365 functionality using configuration and customization tools.
* Develop functional specifications and design documentation.
* Conduct system testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards.
* Provide end-user training and support during implementation and post-implementation phases.
* Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of solutions.
* Assist with data migration and system integration activities.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
1. Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
* Extensive experience working as a Functional Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory Management, and Procurement.
* Experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills..
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310) are a plus.
* Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is desirable.
