Job Description
Supporting our e-fulfilment operation for a well-known recognised brand. The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
As Operations Support, you will play a vital role in providing a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function in the warehouse.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 06:00 - 18:00
Salary:Up to £28,318 per annum DOE
Key duties of Operations Support:
* Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems
* Assisting the Picking and Packing Team by providing Engineering solutions toassistin an Operational capacity.
* Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
* Carry out planned maintenance,inspectionsand complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.
* Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
* Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.
* Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
* Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.
* Proactively make recommendationsregardingthe equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.
Qualifications
You will be expected todemonstratecompetence in the following areas:
* Label Printer set-up and maintenance
* Network patching of laptops and printer to pack benches
* Systems/Peripheral Configuration
* Local Control of IT Asset Management
* General Troubleshooting and Fault Finding
Technical knowledge is desirable in the following areas: (External Systems)
* Printer Management
* Device Management
* Staff Maintenance (such as passwords and access levels)
* CubiscanMaintenance
* Conveyor systems
* Patching of Dumb Terminals and Printers
Experience in working with the following equipment is desirable:
* Checkweighers
* Pallet wrapping
* Shrink wrapping
* Various bespoke hand packing/labelling lines with printers
* MCS
