This role is within our Health and Disability function where we deliver high quality and efficient services that enable people with disabilities and people with health conditions access the help, advice and support they need.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Product Manager to be accountable for a portfolio of technical enabling enterprise scale products & technology services deployed on cloud infrastructures.
Your area of responsibility will be technology focussed spanning multiple technical disciplines including Software Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Security and QA capabilities across the Health and Disability directorate.
You will be an integral part of the Engineering Senior Leadership Team and work closely with the Deputy Director to push forward the enablers that allow product, platform and enabling teams across the Health and Disability directorate to deliver robust and secure services to millions of claimants.
This is a challenging role where you will be expected to manage competing priorities both within your teams and the product and services teams that rely on those capabilities.
You will help drive forward change and innovation while working with other areas of DWP to grow the maturity of the organisation from a technology perspective.
You will be responsible for making evidenced based strategic and tactical product decisions and making key priority calls.
You’ll be responsible for:
