Role
Our client has an immediate vacancy for an experienced Program Director to lead and deliver a major technical re-platform initiative within a leading financial services organisation. This is a pivotal role in shaping and driving large-scale change programs, ensuring successful implementation of third-party technology solutions, and managing the impact on both internal teams and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Program Leadership & Delivery
* Mobilise, structure, and govern large-scale programs in an advisory and delivery capacity.
* Oversee implementation of third-party technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Drive program governance, reporting, and risk management to maintain delivery confidence.
* Team & Stakeholder Engagement
* Assist in shaping and building high-performing teams to support program delivery.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and effective decision-making.
* Legacy Estate & Technical Transition
* Provide expertise on implications for legacy systems and ensure smooth migration to new platforms.
* Identify and mitigate risks associated with technical re-platforming.
* Customer Change Management
* Lead end-customer change initiatives, including training and communication strategies.
* Ensure customer experience is maintained and improved throughout the transition.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven track record as an Implementation and Delivery Director or similar senior program leadership role.
* Extensive experience in program mobilisation, structure, and governance for large-scale technology programs.
* Strong background in implementing third-party technology solutions within complex environments.
* Deep understanding of legacy estate challenges and technical migration strategies.
* Experience managing customer-facing change, including training and communications.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.
