Overview
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Formulation Process Development Scientist to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical company in Oxfordshire.
Joining this pharmaceutical research company, you will carry out laboratory-based process development activities supporting scale up manufacturing processes for solid dosage forms.
Responsibilities
* To develop and optimise processes for the scale-up and lab scale manufacturing of tablets.
* Plan and carry out lab experiments to develop processes from formulations.
* Work collaboratively with other teams including Formulation, Analytical and Engineering.
* Interpret data/ results and write project reports.
Qualifications and Experience
* Ideal candidates will be degree (BSc, Beng, Masters) or PhD qualified in a science or engineering subject (chemistry, chemical engineering, Pharmaceutical Science) and have experience in the formulation or process development of tablets (solid dosage forms) working to GMP.
* Experience in the development of manufacturing process including powder blending, tabletting is highly desirable.
