My client is expanding their IT team and is recruiting an experienced Case Management Developer. This is a brand-new role focused on development and configuration within a new case management system that is being introduced and integrated to improve operational efficiencies and the client experience. The Case Management Developer will be the main technical lead on this project, working closely with the wider IT team and engaging with end users to gather technical requirements and validate functionalities. The right candidate will become the subject matter expert for the new system and will provide ongoing development, support, and future upgrades as required. The role involves learning the new CMS, working with an external provider, and helping to deliver improvements across all departments and users.
Location and working pattern
The role is based in Crawley, West Sussex with a hybrid pattern of two days in the office and three days working from home per week. There is a competitive salary, benefits, and a positive and progressive working environment.
Responsibilities
 * Lead on the technical aspects of the case management system project; develop and configure within the new CMS.
 * Engage with end users and external providers to gather and validate requirements and understand the user journey.
 * Become the subject matter expert for the new system and provide ongoing development, support, and future upgrades.
 * Learn and work with the external CMS provider to implement enhancements and optimisations.
 * Collaborate with the wider IT team to deliver improvements across departments and applications.
Qualifications and attributes
 * Solid experience of development and configuration in a Case Management System (any CMS accepted).
 * Experience with knowledge of working with a CMS such as SharePoint would be advantageous.
 * Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
 * Knowledge of C# and SQL is advantageous.
 * Excellent knowledge of MS Visio and MS Word.
 * Knowledge of MS DevOps and source control.
 * Highly organised and proactive; able to gather requirements from within a business.
 * Confident engaging with end users and external providers; capable of hitting the ground running.
 * Ability to understand the user journey and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
 * Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
 * Experience of working in a Law Firm is a huge advantage.
 * Fast learner who enjoys acquiring new skills and technologies.
 * Capable of developing enterprise-standard case management and workflow solutions both in a team and independently.
