Assistant Management Accountant based at Epworth House, Derby
This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract - 37 hours per week - Hybrid Working
Salary £33,655 per annum
The Role
Methodist Homes – MHA has an exciting opportunity within the Commercial Finance Team for an Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting into the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will be a key member of a dedicated Management Accounting Team focused on month end processing, forecasting and reporting of monthly financial performance of all areas of the charity.
About You
* Minimum AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
* Excellent understanding of finance and experience of management accounting within a multi-site organisation
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight monthly deadlines
* Excellent IT skills with experience of working with computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to a good standard
* An effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with people at all levels
* Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
