We are expanding our permanent workforce and are looking for Machine Operators to join our manufacturing site in Darlington.
Operating our machinery, you will manufacture kitchen products such as panels and frontals for our customers.
You should be able to operate machinery safely and in line with our production plan, understanding KPIs and the impact of downtime.
This role involves working alternative shifts: early (6-2), late (2-10), and night (10-6).

* Starting salary depending on experience: £12.21 per hour. After training, this increases to £12.95 per hour, with potential for further advancement.
* Shift allowances: 16% for rotating shifts, 30% for night shifts, plus overtime at 1.5x and double time rates.
There are three levels of Machine Operators:
1. Trainee Machinists (£12.21ph): Training plan to reach Grade 3 and 4.
2. Grade 3 (£12.95ph): Ability to make machine adjustments, read CAD drawings.
3. Grade 4 (£13.34ph): Skills include tooling adjustments, reading CAD drawings, tooling removal, installation, setting woodworking machinery, and creating machine programs.
Progressing to Grade 5 (£13.74ph) involves similar skills with added capabilities in machine adjustments and program creation.
