Life on the team
This position will report into the Contractual Commercial Manager within the GIS Enablement & Commercial function. The main focus of this role is to provide support with a variety of transactional and operational tasks, to give the wider team the opportunity to focus on more Strategic activities.
The successful Business Support Specialist (Vendor & Procurement team) will ;-
What you'll do
* Provide an admin support function within the Commercial Vendor and Procurement Team
* Compiles Management information reports through relevant tools for accurate data for the Senior and Executive teams
* Ensure and maintain the accuracy of the data sets used to build the above reporting
* Goods receipting of invoices
* Collation of data sets for RFx requirements
* Mail assignment
* SaaS and cloud services knowledge and/or experience
* Assess templates and process improvement that will enhance the customer experience
* Adhere to process and policy procedures
* Ad hoc activities as needed from time to time
What you'll need
* Experience of working in large complex global organisations
* Commercial and Financial acumen
* Build good working relationships within both the immediate team and external functions
* Comfortable in interpreting complex data into a simple digestible format
* Have knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and SharePoint, SAP tools, and SaaS and Cloud Services
* Be able to prioritise your own workload and work on your own initiative
* Can prioritise own workload
